Slobodan Milivojević (SRB)

Dr. Slobodan Milivojević (1980), guitarist, graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Prof. Srđan Tošić. After receiving a full scholarship from Indiana University Bloomington (Indiana State University Bloomington, USA), Slobodan completed the highest level postgraduate guitar performance program – the prestigious Artist Diploma, studying with Prof. Ernesto Bitetti and Prof. Nigel North.

He completed his doctoral artistic studies in 2015 at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade under the mentorship of Prof. Srđan Tošić.

He won the first prize at the 10th Competition in the Performance of Music from Spain and Latin America (2007), and in the same year he also won first prize at the “Indianapolis Musicale” competition.

The artistic activity of Slobodan Milivojević includes numerous solo concerts and recitals throughout Serbia as well as abroad (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, the United States of America, and Norway). As a performer, jury member, and lecturer, he regularly participates in the most important guitar festivals in the country and the region.

Since 2018, he has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.
