Sanel Redžić is one of the most perspective virtuoso guitarists of younger generation, to whom many music critics predict great future. Performing various reperoire with pieces from baroque to contemporary music, Sanel became one of the important figures on international music scene. He was born in 1988 in Tuzla. He started playing guitar when he was eight years old in Elementary music school in Tuzla, where he finished his studies in 2007 in class of professor Predrag Stanković. He continued his musical education on Music academy Franz Liszt in Weimar, where he studied with professors Thomas Müller-Pering and Ricardo Gallen. During his studies he had opportunity to participate on master classes with guitar professors like Costas Cotsiolis, William Kanengiser, Judicael Perroy, Aniello Desiderio, Denis Azabagić, Dejan Ivanović, Petr Saidl, Jorgos Panetsos, Thomas Offerman, Jozef Zsapka, Darko Petrinjak and many others. In June of 2005 he became best teenage student in Tuzla for school year of 2004/2005. Sanel Redžić has participated on more than 1000 concerts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Srbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Mexico, Chile, China, Japan, India and USA. He performed in famous concert halls like Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Recital Hall, Hakuju Hall, Yamaha Hall, Philharmonic Paul Constantinescu Ploiesti and many others. He won many prizes on numerous international competitions Tokyo and Tychy, Forum Gitarre Wien, Markneukirchen, Anna Amalia Weimar, Andres Segovia Velbert, Kutna Hora, Guitarmania in Lisbon, Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade. In the meantime, he became a member of international juries on many competitions for young guitarists, and he also teaches on many master classes. He has won 9 first prizes, 6 second, 8 third and two Special prizes on international competitions. Since 2006 Sanel Redžić has recorded CDs in Sarajevo, Leipzig (for MDR) and Köln. He also had a chance to record for many radio-television companies, and he played with many orchestras. |
