Natasa Jokic

Natasa Jokić was born in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina). She received her elementary music education in Prijedor and continued her guitar studies at the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka where she graduated 2006. in the class of Zoran Krajisnik. She completed her master studies in guitar at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm (Sweden) 2010. in the class of Peter Berlind Carlson.
During her education, she was awarded in numerous international competitons and participated in workshops and seminars held by Jacob Lynberg, Pavel Steidl, Lars Trier, Ann Wallstrom, Rafael Andia etc.

She held a numerous concerts as soloist in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Italy and was a member of various chamber music ensembles. She has played in duo DarCon with flutist Juliane Mack, cellist Elise Eide, voice Lidija Pajic.

She is one of the founders of the ensemble “102 guitar strings” and has been active in the guitar orchestra projects with a goal to broaden the chamber music guitar repertoire. Also, she is a member of Music Society of Republic of Srpska and Guitar Association “102 strings”.
