Violeta Lučić was born in Sarajevo. She studied guitar at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade with professor vera Ogrizović, during which she attended master-classes of D. Bogdanović, V. Ivanović and A. Desiderio.
In 2002. and 2003. she has participated at the Balkan Art in Italy (Rome, Milano, Torino) and has performed as a soloist and within the flute-guitar duo with Sanja Matanović, with whom she performs regulary in the following years. In 2012., as a member of the Sarajevo Guitar Quartet she performed at the Chamber Music Festival in Nikšić (Montenegro). The last three years, she performs with violinist Ljubica Crnobrnja, with whom she has recorded a CD, to honor 80th anniversary of the “Vlado Milošević” Music School in Banja Luka. She is also an active member of the “102 Guitar Strings Orchestra” , the ensamble which gathers professors and students from Banja Luka, Prijedor and Bihać.
Curently she works as a guitar professor at the “Vlado Milošević” Music School in Banja Luka.
